A Little Update!

I'm not much of a blogger, but for anyone who reads here is a small update! We are still basement dwellers in Othello Washington, however the light at the end of the tunnel is starting to shine with the begining phases of building our house. We also found out we are expecting a little girl that will be here in 14 short weeks. I finish my masters in only 7 weeks and Easton is curising along and growing like a weed. I cannot believe how fast time flies! I hope the New Year brings everyone peace and joy!

Basement Dwellers!

It is official! I am a basement dweller. What is a basement dweller you ask? It is someone who by no fault of thier own reside in the basement of a loving parent, grandparent or relative. In my case it would be a co-worker of my husband! I know, that is what my first reaction was too. Someone who is not even related to us, voulenteers their basement to not only two almost complete strangers but a crazy 19 month old tolder. It is remarkable! But none the less, I am living in a basement in, oh yes Othello, Wa! Who would have thought! If you would have asked me 1 year ago if I would be living in a basement with my family in Othello, I would have said you were crazy! However this has become home for the past month, and I have to say it actually feels like home. But not for long, we do have plans of building a house of our own on a lot we are trying to purchase just outside of Othello city limits. It is a wonderful dream I have had to have an old farm house with some land. Hopefully in one year it will be a reality, no old farm house, but a new one that will look old is the plan! Until then, I join the ranks of some really awesome basement dwellers that find themself in transition, for one reason or another, that just need a place to call home!

The yummiest cinnamon rolls and a wrap of of the last three months!

I started my masters in June and have been super busy ever since. I figured I would up date my blog for anyone who reads it. I recently found the yummiest cinnamon roll recipe on a top secret website. If you would like the recipe just let me know. I do have to say they are pretty close to cinnabon cinnamon rolls, which are my favorite. You be the judge just look at these:

While you enjoy these yummy treats i've posted pictures so you can see what we've been up to for the last three months.

So i'm horrible at posting blogs. So here's a quick recap of this summer. In late June my family along with my mom, sister and niece went to San Diego for a week. It was a ton of fun going to Sea World. It is very kid friendly and their is so much to see. The zoo left me wanting more, not such a great place to take little kids. There wasn't anything for them to do all day. The overall trip was a blast. I started my masters in Reading and Literacy. Lots of work but it will be worth it in the end, I graduate in February of 11'. Easton has been crawling all over the place. He loves being independent and tries new things everday. He is eating all by himself, gets into anything possible and is starting to take a few steps on his own. He is also up to four words, dada which he says to everything. Me: Easton I love you. Easton: Dada. Me: You are so handsome today. Easton: Dada. It is very cute. Mama is another word he can say. This one comes when he's doing something he doesn't like. For instance when I change his diaper and he wants to go play he screams Mama mama mama, or when he wants more food he says mmmm mama. He can also say what's that. It is very quiet and he point to everything and asks "whasat." His fourth word has been kitty cat thanks to grandma Esparza. We love to read books and while doing so Easton will point to a picture ask "whasat, kitty kat." Sometimes we get it right when there is a picture of a cat in the book. We have also finished our yard this summer... Yeah it takes a lot of work to sod a yard which we did two years ago but we never had the money or chance to cover all the dirt with rock and plants. I am so glad all the dirt is now gone, now it wont end up in my house or as mud on the dogs. It has been a great summer, it has gone by really fast but I am excited to go back school and meet all my new kids for this year. It's hard to believe we start school again on Wednesday. I hope eveyone had a great summer. Welcome back to school!

6 month pictures....

I've decided it was time to take Easton's 6 month pictures.... technically he is 7 months old but who really cares! Since Brandon and I are totally broke after finishing our backyard I decided to take Eastons pictures by myself in our wonderfully finished yard. It looks really good by the way, i'm super excited to have a backyard not just dirt. It seems the dogs are totally enjoying it as well. But with no furhter adu... Eastons 6 months pictures!
