What is that!

I think I have finally figured out my pickey eater and it totally baffles me. A couple weeks ago we introduced baby food to Easton. He's been eating rice cereal for about a month and just gobbles it up. So when I put some banana baby food in front of him I thought it would be gone in seconds. Wrong!!! He hated it, refused to eat and and screamed for his much loved rice cereal. I have tried peaches and pears, both with the same reaction. What is wrong with this kid, who doesn't like peaches?? So after talking with Tia Blanca, Easton's daycare provider we started trying different real foods. I know your not supposed to but come on this kid has to start eating something. He loves it all, fries, jo-jo's mashed potatoes, waffles, waffer cookies. Everything that he's not suppoed to be eating. With his new found love for food I decided to try it again....peaches, yuck!!! Banana's double yuck..... Carrots........

That's right... carrots all over the place!! He loved them, ate the whole jar. So I tried broccoli, couldn't get enough. This kid loves veggies, HUH! Brandon and I both have huge sweet tooths. I don't think we ever eat veggies. Our house is full of candy, ice cream rice crispy treats and Easton won't have anything to do with sweets. What a strange little boy!! I guess we'll have to love him despite his love for veggies!!!

Busier than a Bee!

Who knew being a mom would keep me sooo busy. Just when I thought I could get a breath in I turned around and saw Easton on all fours.....that's right my 6 months old child is starting to crawl. He's' got the scooting part down really well and can get around by just doing that. Now he's trying to master the alternating hand and foot motions that become a full blown crawl. When they said babies grow up fast I didn't think it would be this fast. Is this normal??? Serious I was just getting used to the sitting.

While Easton has been hard at work crawling Brandon and I have Painted the kitchen and put in the backyard sprinklers. In the midst of finishing the yard Brandon got a really bad virus and had to go to the doctor where he found out he was running a 101 fever. Not the spring break he wanted....or maybe it was his ploy to get out of the honey do list I had for him. Either way we still have a long way to go in our backyard before I bring home my new puppy. That's right I know i'm crazy but i'm getting a puppy...he's really cute but has no name. For the life of me I can't think of a name for him. He's a little mini schnauzer that's all black....any suggestions would be appriciated!!!!
